Detailed design description: I would like to have my English name written in Korean and my Korean name written in English. I would like to incorporate Korean heritage elements into the design along with themes of loss and healing. I am an Adoptee and returning to Korea for the first time in 39 years, and would like to commemorate this trip with a tattoo. I am a Tiger/Pisces sign. I am open to a 3-5 inch design. I would like it done in black and white, though I am open to the idea of color as a highlight. I would like to have it on my upper right shoulder cap.
I like botanicals. I have a left forearm tattoo of a bouquet of flowers representing my family members. So if the design could have some cohesion with that, that would be great.
Photo references (preferably high-resolution [they can be general images, not just tattoos]): I am open to a clear, modern style font that best suits the design aesthetic. I've included some reference ideas for design inspiration:
